Bright, healthy communities require ongoing support. Here’s how PRC helps:

Informed neighbors make better neighborhoods. PRC established the Keeping Neighbors Information and in Touch (K.N.I.T.) program to provide current, pertinent information to new residents. K.N.I.T. encourages residential participation in organized activities that benefit the neighborhood. This program is currently being re-organized. Find out how you can help.

PRC helps to identify problems, communicate them, and track cases through local government processes. PRC established a local Crime and Safety Committee, made up of Peoplestown residents, that serves as an avenue for members of the community to take responsibility for the safety of the neighborhood and interact with local police on a more intimate level.

PRC also provides administrative support to the Peoplestown Community Redevelopment Board (CRB) whose responsibility is to review all aspects of community revitalization as they related to objectives, criteria, and controls contained within the Community Redevelopment Plan. Read the Peoplestown Community Redevelopment Plan.

We encourage consistent, quality delivery of public services.

We conduct activities to promote unity and pride.
